How to pair the optional universal remote to Chase!
The device can only pair to one thing at a time - so be sure the app is completely closed out before attempting to pair the optional remove to Chase.
- Completely close SwiftPaws app (swipe up)
- Plug in the Chase device
- Blue light on bottom of device blinks once per second (indicating it's getting power)
- Turn on the remote
- Remote will vibrate twice
- Blue light on the bottom of Chase device will blink more slowly: once every 3 seconds (indicating it has paired with remote)
When the remote is turned off it will unpair from the device
The Chase device can only pair to one thing at a time
- if it's paired to the app, it cannot pair to the remote
- Similarly, if it's paired to the remote, it cannot pair to the app
- Further, it can only pair to one SwiftPaws app at a time - so the SwiftPaws app installed on all other phones with must be closed (swipe up to close the app)
