Use these specs to purchase a compatible battery. This article has some links to examples of different capacity batteries that are compatible with your Home Plus drive. These are not meant to be recommendations, they're just here as a convenience if you choose to use them. Feel free to purchase from anywhere LiPo batteries are sold online or locally.
LiPo battery Battery Pack Specifications:
- 14.8 volt
- 4 cell (4S)
- 5000 mAh - this can be variable - the larger the number - the longer it will last on a single charge.
- 25c - this can be variable - but must be at least 25C
The battery needs to have these two connectors:
- JST-XHR-5P connects to the charger - this connector may also be called "JST-XH-5P" - either one will be fine.
- XT60 (colors may vary) connects the battery to the drive.

RCbattery.com https://rcbattery.com/ is a good website that offers a wide selection of batteries. Just search for the specs to find a compatible battery here or anywhere LiPo batteries are sold including locally at hobby shops or battery stores.
TIP: For longer run times - it may be preferable to purchase more than one smaller battery and cycle through them. Charing time is quicker and they are easier to maintain when having to charge/discharge them to the storage voltage if the battery will sit unused longer than 2 days.

Motor run times are based on how much amperage the device is drawing. Hard bursts and long runs draw more amps - rest in between uses may allow the battery to revive a bit. The larger the capacity batteries will provide longer run times.
Larger capacity batteries are physically larger. The larger the mAh number is the longer the battery will last on a single charge. Generally, most batteries 5000 mAh or less will fit into the battery compartment. Larger batteries may not fit into the battery compartment with the battery cover in place. In this case you can set the battery behind the drive machine.

I wanted to personally share an update with you—straight from me to you. Transparency has always been core to how we do things at SwiftPaws, and today I’m letting you know about an important change:
Here’s why:
As a company, we’ve always prided ourselves on manufacturing as much of our equipment here in the U.S. as possible. While we continue to manufacture and assemble here, certain accessories, like lithium-ion batteries, are a component that simply can’t be sourced domestically. Even U.S. battery brands import the cells from overseas to assemble into battery packs in the US. The recent tariff changes create a disproportionate cost burden for small brands like us — and batteries were already a costly part of the kit.
This puts a lot of pressure on small businesses like ours, so instead of increasing prices, we’ve decided to remove the battery from our kits and give you the freedom to pick the battery option that best fits your needs:
Kits still include your charger, LiPo safety bag, and all essential gear
We’ll provide clear guidance on which batteries are compatible, so you can find the one that works best for your pup’s playtime.
You get to pick what fits your needs best—If you want to, you can choose a larger battery for longer playtime or a smaller, more budget-friendly option.
I know it might feel like an extra step, but I genuinely believe it will give our customers more control and the chance to choose what’s right for you. And the best part? Many of you have already been sourcing your own batteries, and we’ve seen that you’re often paying less for the same (or even better) performance than we were able to offer.
