There is a red LED at the top of the Pounce remote that lights up when you press any of the control buttons.
- If the LED does not come on at all
- the battery may be loose, inserted backward (see illustration below), or needs to be replaced.
- If the LED is lighting but the drive is not responding:
- Check the buttons; the soft rubber cover may slip under the edge of the hole and get stuck. Just pushing your finger around the button to release the pinched cover.
- If the LED is blinking:
- The battery is getting weak and needs to be replaced.
The Pounce remote uses a replaceable 23A (12-volt) lithium battery.
If the red LED begins to blink or the remote stops working, it’s time to replace the battery.
