About Home Plus

SwiftPaws Home Plus

SwiftPaws Home Plus is a premium pet enrichment product designed to give dogs (and other active pets) an engaging, high-energy play experience at home. It’s the top of the line of the SwiftPaws home lure coursing kits, where pets chase a moving lure around a course for exercise, mental stimulation and training.

What SwiftPaws Home Plus Is

  • Home Plus Kit is the most powerful home lure coursing system offered by SwiftPaws, built for large yards and high-energy pets.
  • It creates a movable course that pets chase, simulating natural prey-drive play.

🗝️ Key Features

  • Top Speed: Up to 36 mph — faster than other home lure kits.
  • Course Size: Supports courses up to *750 ft long -** making it ideal for big outdoor spaces and very active / high energy / athletic dogs.
  • Control: Operated through the SwiftPaws app or with an optional physical universal remote.
  • Includes: Main drive unit, pulleys (usually 3), line, flags, stakes, tethers, line winder, tote bag, and charger. Batteries are not included — you choose a compatible battery separately. Access the battery buying guide here.
  • Safety & Durability: Built to be rugged for outdoor use with safety features like automatic motor cut-offs if your pet touches the line. See more safety features here.

What It Does

  • SwiftPaws Home Plus lets you set up a custom lure‑chase course that simulates the thrill of chasing moving prey. For larger breeds; athletic and/or high energy dogs; large packs and all chase‑loving dogs and is more engaging than static toys or fetch alone.
  • Helps pets burn off energy with intense aerobic play - with an automatic 90 second play session timer programmed to remind you to give your pup and equipment sufficient cool-down breaks. The dog will not stop on their own, so it's up to you to make sure they're playing safely.
  • Two 90 play sessions a day is sufficient to tire out most dogs without over‑exerting them. It is a "together" activity so you can determine the right amount of play for your specific pup.
  • Only Home Plus is capable of supporting a full 100 yard straight line course like the those used for *FastCAT* and similar events. See information on how to set up a straight line course here.
  • Provides mental enrichment through chase instinct simulation.
  • Course layout is customizable to fit your yard and pet’s energy level up to the maximum course size*

Notes

  • The system requires a compatible LiPo battery (4 cell, 14.8 v, sold separately)
  • Batteries are not included but the kit includes a charger and battery safety bag. Battery buying guide for Home Plus.
  • There are also bundle versions available that add accessories to the basic kit.
  • Setup is typically quick with available guides and videos from SwiftPaws support. See the get started walk-through here.

In short, SwiftPaws Home Plus is a high-end automated chase system for dogs and other active pets, designed to bring lure coursing play into your backyard with powerful performance and flexible setup.

Compare Home Original vs Home Plus

Both kits can be controlled through the SwiftPaws app (Bluetooth) or with the optional Universal Remote Controller (sold separately).

Feature Home Original Home Plus
Max Course Length ~300 ft* ~750 ft*
Top Speed ~30 mph ~36 mph
Battery 3s 11.1v LiPo (not included) 4s 14.8v LiPo (not included)
Best Use Medium yards / general play Large yards / play, fitness & training

Bottom line:
Choose Home Original if you’ve got a medium backyard and want solid speed and enrichment without overkill. Choose Home Plus if space and power matter — it gives you a longer course and more speed for big runs and seriously active pups. Only Home Plus is capable of supporting a full 100 yard straight line course like the those used for FastCAT and similar events. See information on how to set up a straight line course here.

*Maximum size assumes a straight out and back course using the main drive unit and one field pulley. Anything that adds "drag" to the system - such as but not limited to additional pulleys, heavy/bulky lures, uneven terrain or an incline, may require a reduction in the overall course size.
