To turn on the remote.
Press the power button once.
The remote will vibrate three times and the LED begins to blink green.
The LED will continue to flash until the remote pairs with the drive & you move the white trigger wheel in either direction. This also starts the 90 second play session timer.
If the LED flashes red - once - when you move the trigger, the remote has not paired with the drive yet. Wait a moment and try again. When it’s paired, the LED will blink green & then turn steady green once you move the trigger wheel.
The remote also checks the battery each time you turn it on.
- Battery is good: the LED will blink green; it will vibrate 3 times; it will control the drive.
- Batter is marginal: the LED will blink green; but it will not vibrate; it will still control the drive.
- Battery is bad: the LED will blink red; it will not vibrate; it will not control the drive.
The battery inside the remote is good for two or more years!
- If the LED does not light up at all - the battery may have been jarred loose inside the handle. See: Check the ♾️ Universal Remote Battery for instructions on how to open the remote and reseat the battery - it has illustrations to show how to get everything back correctly oriented, (if they're not, the remote will not work properly, if at all).
